Book Fair
Volunteers are needed during the week of October 24th to help set up the Book Fair, assist children with book selections, read to the younger grades, and generally provide staffing during Book Fair hours. If you have a few hours to volunteer either during the school day or at the Book Fair evening, please consider being a part of this great Heath tradition that also raises funds for the PTO.

Library Assistance
Our outstanding librarian, Colleen Carney, is looking for volunteers to help her in the library with shelving books, checking books in and out, and changing bulletin boards.
Understanding Disabilities
This committee is focused on facilitating and executing a purposeful curriculum for 4th and 5th graders, designed to diminish children’s anxiety often associated with people who have disabilities. This program is incredibly enriching as we provide an overview of the disability but focus on the ABILITY and not the dis. The idea is that we all share common core values and interests. Volunteers are needed to facilitate lessons and recruit individuals from the wider community to participate in the delivery of the lessons; to preside over all of the paperwork including notices to parents, CORI forms, name tags matching students to specific group assignments; and to liaise with the teachers and district wide coordinator to schedule lessons and training, curriculum dates, speakers and a bake sale for the Perkins School.
