Circle your calendars. This year’s all-school musical, the 2006 Tony Award-winning “The Drowsy Chaperone,” opens Feb. 8, and it should be a winner for the whole family.
Brookline High School is one of the first high schools in the Greater Boston area to present this recent, highly acclaimed show. An homage to American musicals of the Jazz Age and their devoted fans, the show is a play-within-a-play in which an agoraphobic Broadway fanatic’s vivid imagination brings the characters of a fictional musical into his dingy apartment, transforming him and everything around him.
